What types of activations, workshops and CSR programs does EMN offer?
EMN offers hands-on experiences that connect participation, upcycled event materials and tangible impact. Programs include corporate activations, team building, Family Day experiences, conference badge and lanyard return programs, CSR programs and more.
Can you create a program specifically for our organization or event?
Yes. Programs can be tailored around your event, participants, available materials and impact goals. If you already have retired event materials, we can also explore ways to incorporate them into the experience.
Do we need to supply our own event materials?
No. Programs can use your organization’s retired event materials when suitable, or materials can be sourced through the Event Material Network depending on the experience selected.
Can employees or event attendees participate?
Yes. Participation is at the heart of many EMN programs. Employees, attendees and other participants can take part in hands-on activities that contribute to a finished piece, product or community impact.
Can EMN programs be delivered across Canada?
Yes. EMN is building a Canada-wide network of trained hosts to support activations and workshops locally, helping organizations deliver programs in communities across Canada.
What happens to the finished products or materials after the activation?
That depends on the program. Finished pieces may remain with your organization, become part of an event or workplace installation, or support youth and community programs. The next-use pathway is established as part of the program.
Do we receive an impact report after our program?
Yes. EMN programs include a Community Impact Report capturing the participation and impact created together, giving your organization something meaningful to share internally, with clients and stakeholders, and as a post-event touchpoint.
