2. Quote Requests and Project Inquiries

Submitting a quote request, contact form, material request or other inquiry through this website does not create a contract, confirm an order or guarantee availability.

Projects are confirmed separately through a written quote, proposal, agreement, invoice or other project documentation provided by MB Designs Inc.

Where there is a conflict between these website Terms of Service and the terms of a signed project agreement, the terms of the project agreement will apply to that project.

3. Custom and Upcycled Products

Many products shown on this website are created from recovered, retired or client-supplied event materials.

Because these materials vary, finished products may differ in colour, graphics, texture, finish, dimensions, material characteristics and artwork placement. Images shown on the website may represent past projects, concepts or examples and do not guarantee an identical finished product.

Project-specific specifications and approvals will be confirmed as part of the quoting and production process where applicable.

4. Client-Supplied Materials

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information about materials submitted or proposed for recovery, reuse or upcycling.

The suitability, condition and usable yield of recovered materials may vary. Final quantities and available transformation pathways may depend on the condition and characteristics of the materials received.

Any project-specific requirements relating to material collection, transportation, storage, processing or unused material will be addressed through the applicable project documentation.

5. Branding and Authorization

Event materials may contain logos, names, graphics or other identifiable branding.

No visible branded element is redistributed without client authorization.

Where appropriate, authorization regarding the reuse, transformation, sharing or redistribution of branded materials will be confirmed as part of the project process.

6. EMN Find & Share Materials

Materials submitted through EMN Find & Share Materials are subject to review and are not automatically accepted, listed, matched or redistributed.

Availability of shared materials is not guaranteed. Material suitability, quantity, condition, intended use, logistics and any required authorization may be reviewed before a material moves into another project or pathway.

Submitting materials does not guarantee that a suitable next use will be identified.

7. Timelines

Turnaround times shown on this website are estimates unless otherwise confirmed in writing.

Many projects indicate an approximate four-week turnaround; however, timing can vary depending on project scope, material availability, quantities, approvals, fabrication requirements, shipping, venue requirements and other project-specific factors.

Confirmed schedules will be established through the applicable quote, proposal or project agreement.

8. Pricing and Payment

Unless expressly stated otherwise, information presented on this website does not constitute a binding price or offer for sale.

Pricing is determined based on the individual project, including materials, quantities, fabrication, labour, logistics, shipping, installation and other requirements.

Payment terms, deposits and other financial terms will be provided in the applicable quote, invoice, proposal or project agreement.

9. Shipping, Delivery and Logistics

Shipping, pickup, delivery, installation, return shipping and other logistics vary by project.

Applicable logistics, responsibilities and costs will be confirmed as part of the individual project quote or agreement.

10. Cancellations, Changes and Refunds

Because many Event Material Network projects involve custom design, recovered materials, fabrication, advance purchasing, scheduling or project-specific preparation, cancellation, change and refund terms may vary.

Applicable terms will be provided in the quote, proposal, invoice or project agreement for the specific project.

11. Community Impact Reports

Community Impact Reports are prepared using information available through the applicable project, including material quantities, recovery activities, transformation pathways, participating organizations and other relevant project information.

Reports are intended to document the project and its material and community outcomes. Specific measurements and reporting scope may vary depending on the information available for each project.

12. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website — including text, graphics, photographs, designs, concepts, program names and other original materials — belongs to MB Designs Inc. or is used with permission.

Website content may not be copied, reproduced, republished, distributed or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
