Can we use our own event materials?
Yes. Retired event banners, textiles and other suitable materials can be transformed into upcycled gifts. We’ll review your materials and recommend products that work well with what you already have.
What if we don’t have materials to upcycle?
You can still create an upcycled gifting program. Choose from suitable materials available through the Event Material Network and transform them into gifts for employees, clients, speakers, attendees or communities.
What types of products can you create?
Our gifting options include duffle bags, weekender bags, tote bags, drawstring bags, toiletry bags, tech pouches, zipper pouches, pillows, CSR youth products and more. Product options depend on the type, size and quantity of material available.
Can our branding remain visible on the finished products?
Yes, when appropriate and authorized. Existing graphics, colours and recognizable elements can become part of the finished design. We can also discuss options when branding needs to be removed, minimized or repositioned.
Do you work with promotional product companies, agencies and event partners?
Yes. EMN can work with promotional product companies, agencies, DMCs, event companies and other partners to transform their clients’ retired event materials into future gifting programs.
Are your upcycled gifts made in Canada?
Yes. EMN upcycled gifting products are made in Canada, helping keep event materials in motion while creating useful products with a tangible next use.
What is an EMN CSR gifting program?
EMN CSR gifting programs connect corporate gifting with community impact. Depending on the program, employees or event participants can help create, assemble or support products that are then provided to youth and community programs.
Can we combine employee engagement with CSR gifting?
Yes. Selected CSR gifting programs can include a hands-on employee or attendee experience, creating an opportunity for your team to participate in the impact rather than simply donating finished products. Participating organizations also receive an EMN Community Impact Report capturing the impact created together.
